Sunday Word

“But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord.”
– Luke 2:10-11 (NIV)

When we invite Jesus Christ into our lives, He establishes His rule over us. He helps us understand what is good and what is damaging to us. He provides us with principles to live by and boundaries to live within. His rule over us is one way of expressing His love.
He guides us tenderly, as a Good Shepherd who oversees his sheep.

Take a moment to give praise to the Lord for coming as your Lord and Shepherd. Allow Him to give His unrestricted reign over your mind, will, and emotions. Choose to trust and follow Him wholeheartedly as your Heavenly Shepherd so we can experience unending joy.

Lord, this week, help us appreciate the birth of our Savior in a new way. Transform us and prepare our hearts today to receive You and glorify Your Name in our lives. Amen.

My family and I would love to greet you a joyous Christmas day, full of His abundant blessings.
