Kabataan Iwas Droga Movement Inc. is a non-profit organization that was conceived in 2007 with a deep sense of burden and passion to spread awareness about the ill effects of drugs, alcohol, and tobacco, particularly among young people and those who have fallen victim to illegal substances and vices. The program initially began as an advocacy within a church ministry program in 2005, which focused on Drug Awareness Education and Information Campaigns.

Recognized as a Religious Group under the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act (R.A. 9165) by the Dangerous Drugs Board (DDB), our program operated for over five years. In November 2011, Kabataan Iwas Droga Movement Inc. was officially launched in General Trias, Cavite, in collaboration with the Office of the Mayor and the Church of God, World Missions, Philippines. This partnership served as a gateway for conducting drug awareness seminars, particularly targeting the Sangguniang Kabataan (S.K.) and both public and private schools, including colleges and high schools.

Due to the nationwide reach and impact of our initiatives, K.I.D. Movement became a registered non-stock and non-profit organization under the Corporate Code of the Republic of the Philippines (Batas Pambansa Blg.68), with the Securities and Exchange Commission granting us the S.E.C. Reg. No.201313853.

In 2016, as part of our ongoing commitment to realizing our vision of “A Nation Edified Through an Empowered Generation,” we established E.L.I.T.E. (Exemplify Life, Integrity, Trust in God, and Excellence) Campus Ministry.

Today, Kabataan Iwas Droga Movement Inc. continues to tirelessly pursue its vision and mission, actively participating in the nation-building process for both the current generation and the generations to come.
